Sandra Helmly

Thomson, Ga. – Sandra Porter Campbell Helmly, 67, wife of William H. Helmly, Sr., entered into rest on Sunday, February 25, 2018. A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 3, 2018 at Harlem United Methodist Church with the Dr. Mike Shearon, the Dr. Mike Cavin and Harvelyn Smith officiating. The family will receive friends at the church following the service. Sandra was a Physical Therapist for over 40 years. She attended Georgia State and she taught at Aiken Technical College for 12 years. Sandra was a member of the Harlem United Methodist Church. Survivors include her husband, William H. Helmly, Sr.; her mother, Betty Tucker; two sons, Patrick Campbell (Gemma) and Tyler Campbell; two stepsons, William Helmly, Jr. (Peggy) and Frank Helmly (Amanda); one brother, Wayne Hammett; one sister, Linda Shelton (Ronnie); one grandchild, Jackson Tate Campbell; step-grandchildren, Stormie Cosby, Eli Helmly, Will Helmly, III (Crystal); two step great-grandchildren, Weston and Emma Kate Helmly.
