Mr. Robert "Bob" Wayne McQuinn Sr.

February 17, 1952 - February 5, 2018

First Sergeant (Ret) Robert "Bob" McQuinn, Sr. US Army, 65, husband of 33 years of Doris J. McQuinn, entered into rest on Monday, February 05, 2018, at Eisenhower Army Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, February 9, 2018 at Grove First Baptist Church with the Dr. Bill Eckles officiating. Interment will be in Bellevue Memorial Gardens with full Military Honors. After 22 years of service, Bob medically retired from the United States Army as First Sergeant. He served in Korea and two tours of Vietnam. He loved his family and was a best friend to his children and he never could tell Mom no. Bob enjoyed traveling and cruising. He was a member of the Paralyzed Veterans of America and Grove First Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Doris J. McQuinn; one son, B.J. McQuinn (Kayla); two daughters, Amy Welch (Wayne) and Janet Smith (Scott); mother-in-law, Mary Singletary; his grandchildren, Tyler Gray, Morgan Gray, Tripp McQuinn and Hazel McQuinn; one sister, Barbara McQuinn Newman (Nate); and his grand-dog Dixie. He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl McQuinn, Jr. and Rose McQuinn, and a sister, Donna Crozat. Memorials may be made to Grove First Baptist Church Building Fund, 108 W. Robinson Ave. Grovetown, GA 30813. Pallbearers will be US Army Honor Guard. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the AGOGOA Men's Sunday School Class of Grove First Baptist. The family will receive friends on Friday from 10:00 AM until time of service at the Grove First Baptist Church.
