Robert "Bob" Cortez Bowling

July 15, 1961 - February 4, 2021

Mr. Robert "Bob" Bowling, 59, passed away Thursday, February 4, 2021. Bob started Bowling Contractors in the 80's and has grown it into the well-known and successful business it is today. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, especially going to Deals Gap to ride the winding roads. His greatest accomplishment was being Granddaddy to his grandchildren. He loved them dearly and treasured every moment they shared together. Bob is survived by his wife of over 30 years, Tammy Bowling; his mom, Miriam Bowling; two beautiful daughters, Tawny (Evan) Luke and Cortney (Ricardo) Whyte; brothers and sisters, Trent (Sherry) Bowling, Lisa (Mark) Lewis and Bryan Bowling; six grandchildren that were "his World", Leyanah, Gage, Ryder, Brooklynn, Sawyer and Chelsea; nieces Kaitlin Bowling (Jaycee Bowling) and Patricia Lewis; and Marion "Boo-Boo" (Jeanie) Taylor that Bob loved and thought of as a son. He is preceded in death by his father, Floyd Bowling. The family will receive friends Saturday February 13, 2021 from 2 - 4 PM at the funeral home. Services will be privately held at a later date.
