Martin Evan Hathorn April 4, 1992 – February 7, 2021 Harlem, GA – Entered into rest on Sunday, February 7, 2021, Martin Evan Hathorn, 28. Evan was a native of Leah, Georgia. He loved his family and enjoyed many things in life including building things and working with his hands. He loved spending time with his son Brantlee. They enjoyed climbing trees, hiking trails, building Lego creations, swinging, and playing nerf wars. His careers included carpentry and he was very proud of the homes he built. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing and he was known as the “fastest deer skinner in the area”. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Emeric and Omera Hathorn; his maternal grandparents, James and Juanita Jolly; and cousins, David, Kasey and Lamar Jolly. Evan leaves behind his son Brantlee Hathorn, age 8; his parents, Jeffrey and Glenda Hathorn; his brother, Joseph Hathorn; his sisters, Kalinda Hathorn and Kayla Hathorn; his niece, Kaytlin Hathorn and a host of other family members that loved him dearly. The family will receive guests 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM, Saturday, February 20, 2021 at Starling Funeral Home. Following the visitation there will be a procession to the 3:00 PM Church Service at Damascus Baptist Church, Appling. The family thanks everyone that had a positive influence on Evan’s life, and most of all would like to thank their Damascus Baptist Church family for their overwhelming guidance and support over the years. The family asks that those wishing to send flowers have them sent to Starling Funeral Home in Harlem, Georgia.
