Jean T. Salley

July 9, 1934 - February 18, 2022

Mrs. Jean "GeGe" Salley, 87, of Harlem, went to be with her Lord, Friday, February 18, 2022. Affectionately known as "GeGe" to those she loved, she was known to be the most caring, giving, sacrificial woman ever known. She had a tremendous appreciation of flowers, enjoyed gardening and admiring God's beautiful masterpieces. Jean and Brice traveled many places in their 67 wonderful years together. Sapphire Valley, Myrtle Beach and cruises were among their favorites. GeGe's most treasured times were with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. They knew she would always have an ice cream sandwich, KitKat, Hershey bar and plenty of love every time they visited. GeGe is survived by her loving husband of 67 years, Brice Salley; three children, Trey (Lynda) Salley, Rick (Lisa) Salley and Larry (Debbie) Salley; six cherished grandchildren, Erin Ray, Brice (Sarah) Salley, Penny (Josh) Reese, Amanda (Richard) Long, Gabbie (Matt) DuVall and John William (Melanie) Salley; and 17 precious great-grandchildren, Jack Salley, Logan Salley, Edward Ray, Esther Ray, Jacob Reese, Nayla Reese, Madyson Reese, Jace Reese, Cade Long, Morgan Long, Ellis Long, Ben DuVall, Evie DuVall, Silas DuVall, Noelle Salley, Josiah Salley and Caleb Salley. The family will receive friends from 11-12 noon, Monday, in the Chapel of Bellevue Memorial Gardens. Graveside services will follow the visitation at 12 noon, Monday in Bellevue Memorial Gardens.
