Mr. Eddie A. Welch Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Eddie Arnold Welch, 65, entered into rest on Sunday, December 13, 2020 at Doctors Hospital of Augusta. Graveside services will held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, December 16, 2020, in Walker Family Cemetery with the Dr. Don Widener and the Rev. Douglas Hood officiating. Eddie was born in Washington, Ga. to the late Roscoe and Juanita Welch. He was retired from Columbia County Roads and Bridges. He loved outdoors and working on his pond. He was a family man that loved his children. He was a member of Faith Baptist Church. Left to cherish his memory are, his two sons, Wayne Welch (Amy) and Richard Welch (Courtney Jones); two brothers, Julian Welch and Clyde Welch; one sister, Beth Geeter; his grandchildren, Morgan, Ali, Nikki, Lizzie and Abbie; and his great-grandson, Eli. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Alesia Welch; sisters, Jeanette Lariscy and Clara Widener; and Connie Welch. Pallbearers will be Wayne Welch, Richard Welch, Clyde Welch, Jr., Tony Lariscy, Michael Knox and Ronnie Wells. Honorary Pallbearers will his great-grandson, Elijah Gray We ask all guests and family members attending the visitation and services to practice social distancing and if medically able, wear a mask. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Starling Funeral Home.
